Mrs. Logan’s class was the top reading class in second grade. We are pleased that J’Koby Brown was the student with the most AR points in second grade. Way to go!!

Monday, October 22 is “Dream it, Believe it, Achieve it Day” -Dress as your chosen career.
Tuesday, October 23 is “Drugs give you the Blues Day” - Dress in blue Clothing.
Wednesday, October 24 is “Join the fight against Drugs Day” - Wear camouflage.
Thursday, October 25 is “Drugs turn you Inside Out Day”- Wear clothes inside out.
Friday, October 26 is “Stay in the Game Day” - Wear your favorite team shirt. (Alabama, Auburn, Childersburg, etc.)
October 29 is our field trip to see a play at B.B. Comer High School.
Saturday, October 27 is Fall Festival. from 10:00- 3:00.
Don’t forget our class basket. Our basket is a garden basket. Please bring in items that can be used in a garden. Thanks!!
The Kids on the block from UAB visited us on Friday, September 28. They taught us about bullies. We learned what to do if bullies are bothering us.
We had a great group of grandparents visit the classroom. I know they had a great time with their grandchild. We read stories and took AR tests. We interviewed the grandparents and learned more about them.
Friday, September 14, 2007 is Grandparent’s Day at Watwood Elementary School. Please have your grandparents join us from 1:00-2:00. They can join us for a classroom visit, school tour, and pictures with their grandchild.
We have been learning about landforms. We had a lot of fun researching and making posters.
My name is Kris Logan. I have taught for 17 years. I am married to Brad Logan. He is a P.E. teacher at Childersburg Middle School. We have two wonderful sons. Peyton is 11 years old. Ryan is 5 years old. This is going to be a great year. We will learn and have fun together.
